betterdaze: Like I said there was something not quite kosher about the story. The news media jumped on the story without getting all the facts. The morning news yesterday "Veteran meal taken away", and I thought why would they(Chili) deny a meal to a vet. I have never had any problem eating at Chili on veteran's Day, show my veteran's card and pig out....The story didn't make sense......

keyser: yes the story is suspicious. I worked with a guy who was in the black artillery unit in German in WWll.
The only person I have encountered that lied about his service, a JW...

Elderly white gentleman told the black veteran, "black did not serve in Germany' and he told the manager the guy(black veteran) is not a veteran. So the manager took away his food, WTH. I must say something is strange about this story, I have never been question about my service in the military.

My gay friend went back to JWs?
by schnell inone of my best friends was disfellowshipped several years ago, and word quickly got around that it was because he's gay.
we lost touch after that because of the disfellowshipping, but since i'm out now, i just found him online and got back in touch with him.
it was a great conversation, but he said he returned to jehovah.

this bro who was always full of himself come along and wanted to be let in i said we were under strict instructions not to let anyone in before 730. he kept trying to talk me around and failed so he said " do you know who i am "?
